I hope this message finds you well. I’m Joshua Eaton, the Solar Energizer in Chief of Nova Scotians Going Solar. Today, I’m writing to address and clarify an unforeseen technical challenge that we’ve been experiencing recently.
Our website, nsgoes.solar uses what is termed a ‘novelty domain name.’ These are the newer domain extensions introduced just a few years back. While we were excited to adapt this modern domain name, it has unfortunately led to a few hiccups. Many of you might have noticed delayed emails or, in some unfortunate cases, non-delivery of emails altogether. Additionally, there have been instances where we’ve been unable to open various accounts, as specific platforms have yet to recognize these novelty extensions as valid. This has affected our communications and the speed and ease with which we can process payments.
To mitigate these issues and ensure a smoother customer experience, we’ve established an alternate domain with the traditional “.ca” extension. While the domain directly links to our primary website, it offers a more recognized email address, particularly for e-transfers and other payments. In the future, we kindly request that all e-transfers and payments be directed to billing@nsgoessolar.ca.
If you’ve attempted to send us an e-transfer and found it has not been processed, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please rest assured we are working diligently to rectify the situation. The delay in resolution, anticipated to be 24-48 hours, is due to the necessary time for domain name servers to register and recognize our new address fully.
We genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Our commitment to serving you remains unwavering, and we are taking every step to ensure that such challenges are addressed promptly.
Thank you for entrusting us with your solar needs, and once again, apologies for any disruption this might have caused. Your continued support and patience mean the world to us.
Warm regards,
Joshua Eaton
